John x Reader Get Well Soon Part 4
John returned to the bedroom with a glass of water and a few aspirin. He set the water and the small pills down on the nightstand and rubbed your warm shoulder, "Hey, _____, wake up."
"I'm awake," you replied in your rough voice. You sat up, every muscle in your body feeling stiff. You popped the small pills into your mouth and took a sip of the cold water. Immediately, your throat felt replenished and you smiled at John,"Thank you."
He returned your grin,"No problem." It had begun to get dark outside and the gray clouds were tinted the reds, oranges, and purples of the sunset. Lightning illuminated the sky every now and then and you starte
"The sky is beautiful this time of night,"a lonely voice sighed. A pair of honey brown eyes gazed to the purple sky, lit gold by the silver moonbeams. It was early morning, before dawn in Paris and Stephano was awaiting the return of his father from an excavation in the Valley of The Kings.
He couldn't sleep. He was exhausted but rest was impossible to accomplish. The worthless, broken artefacts scattered decoratively around his bedroom kept him alert. Some things just seemed to tell him to stay awake, to keep guard, to not look away. It was mid August of 1914, the Germans had just declared war on the French. The terrain of his countr

"Ugh..." you groan as you reach over to your nightstand to pick up the phone. you looked at the time and quickly ignored the call, even though it was Jade, one of your best friends,'4:13 am...who the hell calls at 4:13 am?' you think, rolling over on your side. You were just about to fall back asleep when the phone rings again,'WHAT THE HELL!?' you think and pick up the phone,"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"
"_____!_____! Oh my god guess what!" she sounded really excited.
"What is it jade?" you ask trying not to sound irritated.
"Its Karkat's twenty-first birthday!" she shouts,"We have to get him something!"
"Why should we? You know he'll just find so

"Hey, Al" you walk into your friends backyard like you live there,"Whats u-"
"_____!" you suddenly feel an impact, pushing you to the ground. You land on the stone path and get the wind knocked out of you and look up. It was Alfred, pinning you down.
"Dude, what's wrong?!" you try to exclaim but you are still catching your breath.
"WRONG?! Nothing is wrong!" He answers quickly,"Guess what day it is!"
"Uh...Wednesday?"
"NO! Its the fourth of July! Independence Day! You know!" he jumps back to his feet,"The Birthday of the most heroic, most awesome country in the world!Duh! i even know how old we are now!"

"Maybe I wanted to stay." he said and quickly covered his mouth.
"W-what?" you asked, half knowing what he meant.
"I-i wanted to see if you were alright. That's all."
"Okay..." this was the most awkward moment of your life, made worse by the complete silence interrupted by the ringing of the phone,"Hello?" you answer, averting your gaze away from John.
"_____, are you okay?" it was your overprotective father calling from work. Your heart sank. If your father found a boy at your house without an adult around, he'd kill him and ground you for life. You look back at John and then back at the ground.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Good. Your mother and
On Sunday, the 4th and final day of San Diego Comic-Con, we were able to keep the love flowing to show the artists and art enthusiasts who came by our booth just how much they meant to us.
The last day of Comic-Con is always bittersweet. The air buzzes with positivity, inspiration, and camaraderie, but in the back of your mind, you know it may be another year before you see some of these friends, old and new. Sure, we always have the Internet, but there's something special about meeting in real life that can’t compare to flipping through a portfolio of sketches, laughing out loud with your peers, and supporting artists’ hard wo
Last year, I said my hiatus from dA was over for good and promised to upload new art at least once a month. And then I never came back. I want to apologize for duping you guys like that. To be honest there's no legitimate excuse other than the fact that I'm literally the laziest person ever.
So heres the deal, I'm graduating highschool soon and going to art colleges and the like et cetera et cetera blah blah blah you know the schpiel. I'm here to tell you I did in fact go through with the art blog idea but its on tumblr. You can find that little ditty right here--> candyskull.tumblr.com
I don't think I'm gonna leave dA forever and I might s
Heyo, I'm here to announce the end of my year and a half long hiatus and give you guys the run-down on how my DA is going to work from now on. A whole lot has changed since the last time I updated. I'm certainly not the same person I was back then and I just want to start fresh with you guys.
Before I get started, I'd like to say that—though they are embarrassing—I will not be deleting anything pre-hiatus. This includes journals and such which were particularly cringeworthy. I kindly ask that you disregard all pre-hiatus activity, if possible.
Now, as for announcements, I am officially discontinuing all unfinished stories from
Hello Watchers,
As you all probably know by now, I haven't been on DeviantArt in a while. I've only written one thing in the past few months and the last time i logged on, it was for a quick message check and nothing more. Two months ago. Today, I realized I'm becoming slowly less attached to DeviantArt and more and more attached to newer and (not necessarily) better things like tumblr. Today I logged on to say goodbye to my watchers forever...
But when I did, I saw 130 new messages, and out of curiosity i clicked it. In doing so i realized that, even though tumblr fills me with laughter and sometimes even tears, this site gives me somet
